The Valle County Fair has collected over $1 million since it was founded in 1979 by the Church of the Holy Cross to raise money for High Country families in need.
COVID-19 forced our church family to suspend much of our parish life, but it will not cause us to suspend the good works underwritten by the Valle Country Fair.

Learn About The Fair
The Valle Country Fair is an overgrown church bazaar set in the center of one of the most picturesque valleys in the North Carolina mountains. The authentic community celebration revolves around hand-made crafts, home-cooked food and old-time mountain music - with all proceeds going to help people in need.
On this website you will find links to the jury-selected exhibitors whose amazing hand-made art & crafts lift our crafts fair above the rest. When you make purchases from these online stores, the exhibitors show their support for our community by donating at least 10% of their earnings back to the charitable work of the Fair.
It may be virtual, but it is still the Valle Country Fair! We, of course, have Apple Butter, home-baked cakes, tarts, jams, jellies and relishes for sale on this website. One hundred percent of the revenue from the tasty items made by our church members goes to benefit Fair charities.
If you'd like to give directly to Holy Cross Episcopal's community outreach, click here to DONATE today! The 2020 Fair has pledged $25,000 in grants to Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture, the Children's Council, High Country Caregivers, Hunger & Health Coalition, Life Village, Mountain Alliance and Spirit Ride. Everything else goes to help High Country families in crisis.
